Dayren was fated to be an entertainer. Born in Matanzas, Cuba to a professional musician father and an actress mother, she opted for a musical life and chose the violin as her instrument. Her understanding parents and family supported her decision, promptly enrolling her at the age of 8 in the province's arts academy. Since graduating from the National Art School in Havana, her career has included extended engagements playing with the National Symphonic Orchestra of Havana and as concertmaster of the Camerata Romeu. Both engagements involved extensive live performance, international touring, recording, and film score work in a range of musical styles.

Jazz Classical Cuban traditional, DJ
Maybe you want to hear timeless Cuban dance songs like El Manisero, Basame Mucho and Guantanamera. Perhaps you'd like some classic jazz including Duke Ellington or Jobim songs. You'll hear some well-known Italian and French songs. You could even hire an entire latin dance band - it all depends on what will fit your occasion.

Dayren is also available to fill out a band for performance or sub for a missing member. An excellence sight reader and quick learner, she integrates easily into any musical ensemble. Experienced with symphony orchestra, chamber music groups, opera, jazz, blues, and latin music in large and small groups. For one gig or a series of performances. Extensive recording experience.
